Bamboo Sheets

These are made of a recyclable fiber that is also a natural anti bacterial.  When bamboo tufts are processed into bamboo fibre, the antibacterial properties of bamboo remain in the bamboo fabric. This is great news for those of us who love sleeping with bamboo sheets. In short, it is the cleanest, most hygienic fabric to make bedding out of. Controlled testing and sampling by the China Textile Industry Testing Centre produced astonishing results. The tests concluded that after introducing bacteria to a specimen of woven bamboo fabric, a 99.8% reduction in bacteria was observed over a 24-hour period. In a different independent study by The Japan Textile Inspection Association, results proved that bamboo fabric could eradicate over 70% of introduced bacteria during a period of 24 hours. And that result was after an incredible 50 industrial wash cycles. Bamboo material will also combat yeast, mould and fungus cultivation.

Dial in your circadian rhythm, blocking out bright artificial light at night, and increasing red light which matches the red light you see at sunset and as fire-light or candlelight. Dimming house lights after the sun goes down, dimming devices or eliminating them after dark altogether will allow you to fall asleep sooner and get more restful sleep, as more melatonin will naturally be released. Artificial light at night surpasses melatonin leaving your sleep disturbed and you... fatigued.
