Welcome back to the Healthy Life Podcast. You know when I suffered my stroke almost 20 years ago I thought it was the worst thing to ever happen to me. I survived a pontine brain bleed and secondary ischemic stroke only to spend the next 3 years fighting, crying, suffering, and asking questions. As you know many of the powers that be suggest you accept and be content with the results...
When I discovered answers I had a choice to make... either take the win and drift back into the masses... or scream it from the roof tops! Well... I choose the latter! I’ve spent almost 20 years devoting myself to helping and assisting others to uncover answers... seek revolutionary treatments, maintain a positive overcoming attitude, learn about health, and persevere!
Now I am expanding that effort and working diligently on things to multiply those efforts and increase the likelihood of personal success, decreasing illness, increasing health, promoting education and dispersal of accurate information. I have released a new web site stroke.global designed to meet the needs of stroke survivors, caregivers, medical professionals and the like... the site is offering...
I’m not only putting this information online I’m building an app that will bring all these helps into the hands of those who need it most. The “DO” app will be released this fall and I hope that more can reap the benefits that are offered to the individual. One of the things we can do is provide information from a patients perspective. This site is not filtered through an agency or association that have profits to make and people to please. We work hard at researching everything that is shared to vet it for accuracy and to make certain it’s current. If you know of something that we haven’t listed then please visit the site stroke.global and send us a message. We love to get updates and suggestions from you our listeners. There are a lot more of us than you realize and there is little that we can’t do if we put our minds to it.
Unfortunately there are many times we just do not know how to go about doing things, who to ask, or how to start. The one thing I learned at a very early age was... the only bad question is the one that goes unasked. So reach out and ask! I personally have a contact database of over 500 neurological specialists and I’m often challenged and ask them for thoughts and advice. I’m one individual in a world of millions but many times it comes down to who you know not necessarily what you know. They say we’re just 6 degrees away from almost anybody...

I also hope you’ll join us tomorrow! As always it’s an honor and a pleasure sharing today and we’re adding listeners each day... thank you! I hope you’ve enjoyed this podcast... we keep it brief so it’s easy to add to your day...
